Volun-tourism Weekends

This fall, join We Love Clean Rivers for a rewarding weekend of volun-tourism in Oregon’s scenic Clackamas County! Combine sightseeing, adventure and philanthropy in one memorable, rewarding weekend.

We Love Clean Rivers, in cooperation with the Clackamas County Tourism & Cultural Affairs office, has teamed up with hotels and outdoor recreation guides to offer two fun-packed river stewardship weekends this September and October.  You’ll participate in a river cleanup one day, and be rewarded by a day of outdoor recreation the next!  We’ve also arranged so that you can stay at a discounted rate at one of Clackamas County’s finest hotels.

This is a win-win weekend getaway. The rivers benefit through your effort, and they also benefit because the outdoor recreation guides are donating some of your activity fee to We Love Clean Rivers. You benefit from discounted lodging prices, food and entertainment at the cleanups, and leaving refreshed, with warm memories and the knowledge you have helped restore nature’s balance.

You create your package from a choice of fly fishing, kayaking, scenic rafting, or stand-up paddle boarding. Stay in a hotel property of your choice – all in Clackamas County!

This project made possible with a generous grant from the Clackamas County Tourism Development Council.
