At KEEN, we believe in encouraging everyone to create, play, and care...for us it’s a way of life, we call it HybridLife.

However, living the HybridLife also comes with a very real sense of responsibility, reliability, and transparency. Internally, we have challenged ourselves to consider each choice we make, because once we re-think our options and when we take that first step, all sorts of new possibilities appear.

This way of thinking has allowed us to push the envelope of corporate social responsibility around three key areas: Environment, Community and Growth. We are proud of our progress-to-date, but we also realize that our successes will yield challenges for the future.

We not only build shoes and products for your everyday and play day activities, but we are proactive about being a part of something bigger, helping to build for a better future for everybody, and every thing.

Inspired by the effects of the tsunami disaster in 2004, KEEN has dedicated both time and financial resources to social and environmental organizations actively working towards the greater good. KEEN honors our employees' commitment to volunteerism, support our local community and embrace corporate responsibility. We call it Hybrid.Care™.

Since 2004, KEEN has distributed more than $1.5 million to non-profit organizations important to us. With limited resources and widely different goals our Hybrid.Care™ partners have paved the way for change through community, education and understanding. What these organizations share is a philosophy of caring, conscience and sustainability. What they've already given back is invaluable.
