On September 9th, 350 volunteers came together along 20 miles of the Clackamas River to remove 2.15 TONS of trash from in and around the river. Of that 2.15 tons, 33% was recycled!! Since this event began 16 years ago, we’ve been able to remove over 28 tons of trash from the Clackamas River with the help of over 3,600 volunteers. We’re blown away by the dedication and enthusiasm of all the volunteers who come out to help us clean up the river each year. As home to threatened and endangered species, and with almost 400,000 people getting their drinking water from the Clackamas, protecting this resource is vital for all of us! We have TONS of folks to thank for making 2018 a banner year – our partners, our event sponsors, our BBQ sponsors, and our auction donors! Thank you to...
