Clackamas River Cleanup This Sunday! Registration Ends Friday
The 13th Annual Down the River Clean Up on the Clackamas River is just 4 days away — taking place on Sunday, September 13th 2015.
There are still volunteer spots open! Please sign up to volunteer! Registration closes this Friday at 9pm.
This is an on-river, volunteer clean up. All non-motorized water paddle crafts are invited! There are lots of on-land positions too. Raft owners are especially needed on the Riverside to Clackamette section to help be Garbage barges.
Attracting over 300 people, and typically removing 3-4 tons of trash from the river that provides more than 300,000 residents with fresh drinking water, We Love Clean Rivers and Clackamas River Basin Council hopes you will join them in making this 13th Annual Down the River Clean Up a splashing success!
After volunteers float and fill their boats, all are invited back to Barton County Park from 3-5pm for a family friendly celebration with a free BBQ, live music and a raffle with tons of sweet prizes from Osprey Backpacks, Patagonia, Sotar, MTI Adventurewear and more!
