2015 Cleanup Weights, Pics & Survey!
Hello River Stewards!
On behalf of We Love Clean Rivers and Clackamas River Basin Council, we’d like to send a big THANK YOU to 250+ volunteers that joined us this year for the 13th Annual Down the River Clean Up on the Clackamas River.
Please help us out by taking 2-minutes to complete this short SURVEY by Tuesday Oct 6th.
This year, with your help, we cleaned up nearly 2 TONS (3,800 lbs.) of trash from the Clackamas River and recycled 82% of that trash. That’s the highest recycle rate we’ve had in 13 years – amazing!
The breakdown of how much trash (in TONS) was collected from each of the 4 river sections is:
- McIver to Barton – .30
- Barton to Carver – .69
- Carver to Riverside – .50
- Riverside to Clackamette – .41
Check out photos from the cleanup on Facebook here.
